RANT

My mind the past few days has been racing with questions that my priorities attempt to avoid. To explain this feeling – its like walking through a haze in a dream. Without needing that pinch, I am fully aware that this is real life but I can’t help but to focus on thoughts similar to those in my sleep. However, this isn’t a dream I desire. Instead, it is more like one of those dreams that do not make any sense, no matter how familiar it may feel. Yes, the main characters and plot are there, but the reasons and events are entirely fictional. My life is currently built around things that are not complete due to that one important piece gone missing.

I understand the pattern I’m required to follow. Go to school for one more year. Get a summer job. Feed and walk the dog. Get your car oil changed. Even with everything laid out for me, it feels more confusing than ever. I need something; an outlet, a distraction, whatever.

I also made cake bites today. They are quite lovely little things being dipped in white chocolate and all. Forgive me for the horrendous cellphone picture quality (how dare I refer to myself as a photographer).

And if you haven’t noticed, I’ve upgraded my blog header. It’s only appropriate since lately I’ve been holding my beating heart in my hands.
